Encroachment

An encroachment permit is required for any work or activity performed by an individual or contractor within the County road right-of-way.  Work may include, but is not limited to:

  • Driveways
  • Mailboxes
  • Underground utilities
  • Culverts
  • Maintenance of existing improvements
  • Removal of vegetation adjacent to driveways

To apply for an encroachment permit, fill out the form found in Supporting Documents below.  Submit by E-Mail @ encroachment@co.siskiyou.ca.us
Alternatively, permit applications may be submitted by mail or hand delivered to:

Please Note:  If you are applying for a No Spray Zone on County road right-of-ways, you must also fill out an Encroachment Permit application.
