Sawyers Bar Road - CAUTION STATEMENT - Anticipate Log Truck Traffic along Sawyers Bar Road between Etna, Ca. and Forks of Salmon, Ca.
Sawyers Bar Road will be the haul route for the Butler Roadside Timber Sale. This project may last through the summer months of 2026.
McKinney Fire Burn Scar - CAUTION STATEMENT - During high-intensity rain events, the following county roads may be impacted by debris flows: Hawkinsville Humbug Road, Humbug Creek Road, Yreka Walker Road, Eliza Gulch Road, Middle Fork Humbug Road, Klamath River Road, Barkhouse Creek Road, Walker Road, and Beaver Creek Road. Heed all safety orders.

McConnell Bar Fire Restoration Project
LOCATION: Klamath River Road near the intersection of Humbug Creek Road.
The Yurok Tribe Construction Corporation is constructing this restoration project. Excavation spoils will be hauled along portions of Klamath River Road, Forest Road #46N13, and Humbug Creek Road.
Traffic control measures will be in place to ensure public safety. Motorists should anticipate minor delays while hauling operations are underway.
Project completion is anticipated in November of 2026.
Middle Mile Broadband Initiative Project
This project involves the installation of underground fiber optic communication utilities along various county maintained roads. Traffic control measures will be in place to ensure public safety. Motorists should anticipate delays during construction which will last until fall 2027. This page will be updated with more accurate schedules as they become available. Owner: Siskiyou Telephone. LOCATION: Begin at Klamath River Road near Swiss Bar, thence 3.7 miles easterly along Klamath River Road to the intersection of Humbug Creek Road, thence 3.8 miles southerly along Humbug Creek Road to the intersection of Hawkinsville Humbug Road, thence 6.0 miles westerly along Hawkinsville Humbug Road to the intersection with State Highway 263 and end of this project.
