Public Authority
In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Public Authority offers services that assist consumers with greater
access to providers. Public Authority is the provider's employer of record for purposes of collective bargaining for wages and benefits.
The Public Authority maintains a provider registry. A provider registry is a computerized database listing qualified and screened IHSS providers. The Public Authority works closely with Siskiyou County IHSS but is a separate entity.
