Career Online High School

Career Online High School (COHS) empowers California adults to earn a high school diploma and career certificate through their local public library. California libraries have provided this valuable service at no-cost to students since 2015. It is funded for Californians by the State of California. By increasing access to a diploma, COHS increases education and workforce opportunities to help graduates achieve their life goals. A high school diploma unlocks doors to better opportunities.

Career Online High School is offered at no cost to students at the Siskiyou County Library where a flexible virtual learning environment supports independent learners. Courses are nationally accredited, and all students have access to academic coaches.

COHS also provides students with important professional support. While working toward their diploma, students work toward a career certificate in one of 10 high-demand fields, such as childcare and home care professionals and commercial driving. Students also create resumes and career portfolios to help find a job after graduation.
