Siskiyou County Recognizes Maddelyn Bryan with Peak of Excellence Award

Maddelyn Bryan Peak of Excellence with Board of Supervisors

The County of Siskiyou is pleased to recognize Maddelyn Bryan as the Quarter 2 recipient of the Peak of Excellence Award, a staff-nominated program that honors employees who go above and beyond in service to their department, colleagues, and community.

The Peak of Excellence program was launched in 2025 to recognize County employees who demonstrate outstanding commitment, accountability, collaboration, positivity, and adaptability. Maddelyn is the second individual to receive this honor and was selected by the Peak of Excellence Review Committee based on nominations from fellow County staff.

Maddelyn serves within the Health and Human Services Agency and has already made a significant and lasting impact in a short time. Among her many accomplishments:

  • She led the successful launch of two critical housing initiatives—Siskiyou Crossroads and Siskiyou Village—providing safe and stable housing for vulnerable residents.
  • She developed and implemented an outreach program that connects individuals experiencing homelessness with essential services, including mental health care, substance use treatment, housing assistance, and veteran support.
  • Her approach to leadership emphasizes collaboration, professionalism, and empathy—qualities that elevate the workplace and benefit the entire Siskiyou County community.

Maddelyn’s work is a powerful example of the excellence we strive for throughout County operations. Her dedication, compassion, and results-driven mindset make her a valued member of the team and a deserving recipient of this recognition.

Congratulations, Maddelyn, and thank you for your continued service to Siskiyou County.
