Kim Lehmann Recognized with Siskiyou County Peak of Excellence Award
The County of Siskiyou is proud to recognize Kim Lehmann, Personnel Department, as the Quarter 4 recipient of the Peak of Excellence Award, an honor given to employees who demonstrate outstanding commitment, accountability, collaboration, positivity, and adaptability.
As the County’s lead on employee-leaves and related support services, Kim plays a vital role in helping staff navigate some of the most complex and emotionally challenging moments of their lives. From coordinating Family Medical Leave (FMLA) and Catastrophic Leave to assisting with disability applications and access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Kim brings exceptional knowledge, patience, and empathy to every interaction.
Her calm, respectful, and compassionate approach ensures employees feel supported and understood, no matter the circumstances. She has been described as someone whose professionalism and care are felt by everyone she helps, and whose impact on workplace culture is both meaningful and lasting.
Kim’s dedication and hands-on support make a measurable difference in the daily lives of County employees and offer a powerful example of what excellence in public service looks like.
On January 20, 2026, the Siskiyou County Board of Supervisors unanimously adopted a proclamation recognizing Kim’s contributions and thanking her for her continued service to the community and her colleagues.
