The project is a proposed zone change affecting approximately 2,600 acres of forested land owned by Acer Klamath Forest LLC, from Prime Agricultural, 40-acre minimum parcel size (AG-1-B-40) and Non-Prime Agricultural, 40-acre minimum parcel size (AG-2-B-40) to the Timberland Production Zone (TPZ). The requested zone change is intended to align the zoning designation with the existing and long-term use of the property for commercial timber management.
