The project is a proposed zone change from Rural Residential Agricultural zoning (R-R-B-40) to Timberland Production Zone (TPZ) for approximately 640 acres of forested land owned by Acer Klamath Forest, LLC. The requested zone change is intended to align the zoning designation with the existing and long-term use of the property for commercial timber management consistent with the California Forest Practice Act and Forest Practice Rules.
