Military Training Operations Scheduled at Siskiyou County Airports

Siskiyou Airport

The 270th Combat Airfield Operations Squadron from Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls, Oregon, will conduct training exercises at Siskiyou County Airport and Butte Valley Airport from July 12 through July 16.

During this time, residents may notice increased military aircraft activity at and around both airports, as well as in the surrounding airspace. This is scheduled training only, and there is no cause for concern if you see or hear activity that appears out of the ordinary.

Both Siskiyou County Airport and Butte Valley Airport will remain open to general aviation, and normal airport operations will continue.
