June is Elder and Dependent Adult Abuse Awareness Month and June 15th is recognized as World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD).

In Siskiyou County, we are proud to join this movement and raise awareness of this important issue. In Siskiyou County alone, more than 774 reports of alleged abuse were received in 2025.
